A Collage Of Activism From Weekend Events Across Ireland

Éirígí activists were involved in a variety of political actions across Ireland over the weekend. On Friday afternoon, Éirígí members participated in 'Shell to Sea’s' protest outside of Shell HQ in Dublin, while later on that evening, activists from Dublin joined comrades in Derry to distribute copies of the 1916 proclamation across the south of the oak leaf county.

On Saturday afternoon Éirígí activists picketed Bertie Ahern’s constituency clinic in Dublin as part of the ‘Defend Ireland’s Natural Resources’ campaign, during which Ahern was handed a copy of Éirígí’s campaign leaflet.
At approximately the same time, an anti-water charges march was taking place in Belfast, which was also attended by several Éirígí activists.
