Picket In Support Of Republican Prisoner Noel Maguire
The campaign to repatriate republican prisoner Noel Maguire continues this weekend with a picket organised for Saturday in Dublin.
Noel Maguire is currently imprisoned in Full Sutton prison, York, and is the only remaining Irish political prisoner incarcerated in an English jail. The 38-year-old Fermanagh man was controversially sentenced, on highly questionable evidence, to 22 years imprisonment for his alleged role in a republican bombing campaign in Britain between 2000 and ’01.
The picket will take place outside of the GPO on O'Connell St, Dublin from 2pm-3pm. All welcome.
