In Focus - Ard Fheis Éirígí 2026
Dozens of Éirígí activists, supporters and comrades from other organisations attended Ard Fheis Éirígí 2026 on Saturday the 25th of April, with the day before also marking the 20th anniversary of the foundation of Éirígí.
The event, which was held in the historic Wynn’s Hotel in Dublin City Centre, was divided into a morning session which dealt with internal party business and an afternoon session which included a stall displaying historical Éirígí posters and stickers by Alan Kinsella from Irish Political Ephemera, statements of solidarity from multiple organisations, two guest speakers, a talk on decolonialism by Dr. Kerron Ó Luain, the showing of a video celebrating twenty years of Éirígí, and a keynote address by Cathaoirleach Éirígí, Brian Leeson.
The guest speakers were Khaled Barakat, a member of the Executive Committee of the Masar Badil, the Palestinian Alternative Revolutionary Path Movement, and Charlotte Kates, the co-founder of Pro-Palestinian advocacy group, Samidoun. A selection of photos from the Ard Fheis are published below.
