‘Vultures Out!’ Four Page Newsletter - Read It Here And Then Join The Fight Back
Éirígí For A New Republic has taken delivery of 30,000 copies of a new four-page ‘Vultures Out’ newsletter. No other political party in Ireland has produced a publication with this level of detail about the vulture takeover of housing for mass community-level distribution.
Topics covered in the newsletter include an overview of the nature and scale vulture takeover; an explanation of the term ‘vulture landlord’; a detailed timeline of how the political establishment actively welcomed the vulture landlords; an explanation of Universal Public Housing as the solution to the housing crisis and an invite to view the #TrackTheVultures online map.
The people of Ireland deserve to know the full extent of the vulture takeover of Irish housing and to know who is responsible for it. They also deserve to know that there is an alternative model of housing that could permanently end the housing crisis and transform Irish society in the process. The ‘Vultures Out’ newsletter includes all of this information and more.
Over the last five years, Éirígí has been to the fore of highlighting and challenging the vulture takeover of Irish housing. And in the coming weeks our activists will be busy distributing the ‘Vultures Out’ newsletter to thousands of homes in villages, towns and cities in many counties, but we cannot win the fight against the vultures on our own.
More people need to join the fight back against the vultures and the gombeen politicians that protect them - more people who are directly affected by the housing crisis need to decide that they will no longer be spectators to their own futures - more people need to join the fight for Universal Public Housing and the housing justice that it will deliver - more people like you.
